Thank you for considering a sponsorship for the Annual Brazilian Day Street Festival Michigan. It is a great opportunity for everyone to be a part of Michigan history.

Festival Overview
Organized by Creative Movement Brazil, our event is a family-free event held in Metro Detroit it will feature many attractions reflecting Brazilian culture and how it connects throughout the world. It will provide local and national acts the opportunity to debut their amazing grasp within music, dance, and art. We will also give local businesses the chance to debut amazing artwork, music, drumming, and interactive activities for all ages.

Sponsorship Overview

Promoted on local and statewide media outlets, including:
• Print and online advertisement
• Advertisement during the festival
• Social media networking and promotion

Special Note:
Accepted sponsors will not be allowed to use the name “Brazilian Day Street Festival Michigan” or any of the Brazilian Day Street Festival Michigan logos on their products without written permission from the Brazilian Day Street Festival Michigan Board of Directors.

Rules and Regulations
The Brazilian Day Street Festival Michigan requires that all sponsors participating in the Festival abide by the following rules and regulations. Failure to comply may result in the closing down of your operation during the festival until in compliance.
• DetroitPAL, Creative Movement Brazil, or any event sponsors are not responsible for accidents or stolen items.
• Unruly behavior by festival vendors or their assistants (including intoxication, verbal abuse, or threatening behaviors) will not be tolerated and are cause for immediate removal from the grounds.
• The deadline for this year’s festival is August 1, 2024, at 4:30 pm. All applications and payments must be received to participate in this year’s festival.

Hold Harmless Clause:
Sponsors, its officers, and members shall hold harmless and defend The Brazilian Street Festival Michigan & Creative Movement Brazil, and its agents, officers, and volunteers from all liability, judgments, suits, costs, and actions, including attorneys’ fees and all costs of litigation of every kind and description brought or rendered against The Brazilian Day Street Festival or Creative Movement Brazil as a result of loss, damage, or injury of persons or property by reason of any act or failure to act by its officers, members or volunteers.

Terms & Conditions

All Advertiser/Sponsorship Agreements are subject to change to Creative Movement Brazil’s (herein referred to as the Publisher) approval and acceptance. Acceptance of the Advertiser/Sponsorship Agreement shall constitute an agreement to provide advertising space as described in the Agreement. The undersigned, by signing the Advertiser/Sponsorship Agreement, acknowledges that he/she has read and understood all of the terms contained herein.

Cancellations or changes in the Sponsorship Agreement are accepted only in writing to the Publisher and must be received on or before the Sponsorship Closing Date for the applicable issue. The Closing date for Brazilian Day Michigan 2024, shall be June 4, 2024, at 12:30 pm EST.

THE ADVERTISER/SPONSOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING ARTWORK TO THE PUBLISHER. Advertisers/Sponsors are responsible for the submission of the advertising copy and materials by material deadlines. Payment is due and payable within 30 days of receipt of the invoice.

The advertiser/sponsor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Publisher with whom Publisher may have contracted for any and all loss, expense, or other liability (including attorney’s fees) arising from any claim of libel, violation of privacy, plagiarism, copyright any advertised copy submitted, infringement, omission, incorrect information or placement and any other claim or suit that may arise out of the publication of printed or published.
